Why are OTA updates not sufficient ?
OTA updates (Over-The-Air) proposed by Renault are for a limited time — usually during 3 years after delivery — and progressively deployed.
Their distribution may be very slow (several months) or even never happen automatically depending on the vehicle.
The update by USB key cancels the warranty ?
No. The update by USB stick is OEM and does not void the manufacturer's warranty.
The CarPlay wireless is activated with a simple update ?
No. The Wireless CarPlay requires a specific reprogramming.. It is not enabled by a software update only.
What to do if my version is obsolete ?
If your version is obsolete, update as soon as possible. Contact your dealer or authorized repairer.
Is it possible to rollback after an update ?
No. An update is irreversible.

Hello, the version 283C34639R is not reserved for the GSR2, it will work just as well on models phase1, even the oldest.

I have Clio V. The year of my vehicle is 2024 and have 7" easylink screen.Which branch is this?. I replaced the digital cockpit with a 10-inch matrix. Current easylink version is 283C33813R. I did this update manually. In the current version, the navigation bar does not appear on the digital cockpit. Will this be fixed with a version upgrade? If possible, which version should I install? 283C38184R gold 283C38616R?

J’aimerais mettre à jour car j’ai des bugs que Renault refuse d’admettre (l’historique des consommations ne fonctionne pas, Impossible de rapatrier les images des stations de radios …)
Puis-je migrer sans risques vers la version 283C38773R ?
can you buy the branch 3 easylink hardware (silver bosch box) and install it on an older model car? (21 Clio V)
if branch 3 hardware works much better/smoother performance-wise i’d definetly spend a few hundred euros for it if i knew it worked.

Correction: Navigation is not working.
Did it got more responsive? Any new functions? Where did you find installation file? I personally don’t care about navigation, but current version is just too slow.
